    Soul here. I don't know... it sort of was resusitated when they released gold/silver/crystal, and they are making a GBA version, tentative release date may '03. Maybe it's just beginning.

    Teeny sorry to tell you but pokemon is longggg time dead. Digimon and digimon2 have taken it's place.
    I hate the ****. It turn people into mindless fanatics and it makes little kid actually think these things exist.
    It's all in all ****!

    [​IMG] Pokemon are near extinction
    Digimon 2nd and third edition deserves to be extinct
    Original Digimon were a lot better but aree dying out - i have got two original digimon but only one has working batteries

    It kicks Frosty butt!!!

    [​IMG] I still remember the days, people yelled at me for not owning a gamboy with red or blue version. Then, yellow hit, one of the best selling Nintendo games ever. The Pokemon in Silver/Gold/Crystal were unoriginal, and it was evident they were out of ideas. It was downhill from there. Yes we loved it. Yes we bought them. Yes we played the card game. (BAD substitute for Magic: The Gathering) But yes they're dead. I hear Yugio is replacing it. (did I spell that right?) By the way, playing Pokemon reminded me of CRPGs...here's the strange thing:
    1) You generally have six people in BG and other games like it; you have six Pokemon on your team

    I'll write more strange coincidences, (or are they) when I find the time to think of them...here was my team in Blue:
    Farthy
    1) Blastoise
    2) Ninetales
    3) Tangela
    4) Gengar
    5) Jolteon
    6) Hypno :)
