    Not all is fair, but let's see...

    If it's love or if she's a serious person, you girl won't be bedded by the first bloke around when you're away.

    If it's love or if she's a serious person, she won't keep cheating on you.

    If it's love or if she's a serious person, she won't be checking on guys all the bloody time.

    If she does one of the three, she either doesn't love you or isn't a serious person. Whoever gets her from you, does you a favour.

    Twice, seeing a girl's next chosen one (over me) cured me of all love sickness ;)

    Finally, largely stoically and a bit cynically, like a good classical scholar, I conclude that the sooner the better.

    Aye, that I can't but agree with. A 34 year old short (even shorter than me) guy, not even divorced yet, has two kids, a business that is almost bankrupt and has a smoking, drinking and gambling addiction.

    Let's just say that I got over her rather quickly after I learned all that.

    In my case, he was an underaged kid. 4 years younger than she (and 5 than I). To be more precise, I was 17, she was 16 and he was 12. They ended up in bed the very evening she started the thing with me. Funny, isn't it?
