If your character is a warrior of light fighting the forces of darkness, I'd say Amaunator should be your god to worship. After all, he is the (more or less forgotten) god of the Sun in Faerûn. And we all know how much undead hate the sun, eh? :D
Not sure though how you could link your name to Amaunator. Maybe you could just take the name of the Diseased One in the Temple of Amaunator under the sewers in the Temple District. Agru Tindul, Sunlord of the Third House does sound quite nice if you ask me... ;)

Better stick to actual ad&d data, esp. if gods concerned. As for names, the best random generator is one you make yourself. What's more you don't owe anything your nome, which I guess could be annyoing.

There's some nice name translator into elven, dwarven, hobbit and human tongue at

    thelordoftherings.co.uk

I use this sometimes to translate 'normal' names or words ('tis meaning-based in part)

And the surname or nick or anything after the name is something you can perfectly think up and enjoy for this reason as well.

    Hope this helps.
