HLA help for a F/M/T

    Remove all ads!
    When I remove the level cap, I also like to hack the HLA table for the FMT to provide access to 10th level spells. Since there are a limited number of slots, it sometimes takes multiple hacks over the course of a game in order to get access to everything.

    Thanks Prine, this really cleared my confusion. I guess I have Baldurdash fix pack, such a pity. But maybe I don't, as my doom spells stack always, isn'T this bug supposed to be solved by Baldurdash? Then...then I don'T have it! YAY! :banana:

    Sorry, with all those mods installed I really can'T keep track of Baldurdash fix...I had the latest patch though.

    Well, you can remove that specific component of Baldurdash if you want to. The files in the fix are:

    LUBA1.2DA
    LUBA2.2DA
    LUBA3.2DA
    LUCT0.2DA
    LUFT0.2DA
    LUMT0.2DA
    LUTH2.2DA
    LUTH3.2DA

    I don't know if any of the other mods you have installed depend on those files, though. But if you don't have Baldurdash installed then nevermind.

    Well, that can't be it for me because I don't have Baldurdash (cr*p on a crutch, IMO :p ) and my F/M/T still couldn't pick it more than once. But at least that confirms that you're not supposed to.

    You must have some other mod that overrides those files, then; the bug is still present in my unmodified install.

    Nope. Not unless it's included in ToB, the patch, EoU, or an NPC mod.

    It could be in any component that overwrites .2da files. That's a lot of mods.

    Ease of Use fixes it for mage-thieves only. If you're experiencing it with other combinations then one of your NPC mods is overriding the files. Anyway, regardless of the why, you can take Assassination as much as you want in the basic SoA/ToB/official patch installation.
