    Ok. Finally got down to the "post reply" message. Now... ICE HOCKEY RULES!!!!!! New Jersey will all kick those pesky teams out of their region!!!!! And it's soooo funny watching Toronto and Ottawa play. They get at least 3 penalties in the game. ;) Geez. What a way to play hockey! Forget the ball, let's play hockey.

    The Flyer's game was fantastic!!!! The orange and black look great this year!! But I have to say...My new favorite player has to be Jeremy Roenick! He's the Man! 1g 3a tonight in a 5-2 drubbing of the Florida Panthers!

    He plays to the crowd, and he is easily the best player to watch at the moment! He kicks @$$! :grin: And he's an American hockey player...Can you believe it?!?!?!?

    Europeans don't have different names. Americans have different names for what we have. Remember that almost everybody in America have european ancestors. So you all started with the good european (or the bad english) basics, ah blame the english, stupid miles, lbs, inches etc...

    Ok, now a different question: What was earlier: Ice hockey or Hockey (field hockey :))

    Icehockey is great to watch and hockey isn't (except the girl games :)) But we dutch ar bad in Ice Hockey but won Gold with Fielhockey in Sydney :)

    Ahh well, the Canucks lost 5-4 to Chicago, i guess thats ok seeing as it is Mathetais's Team :grin: However, Brashier did kick one of their butts!!

    Oh stop! I was kidding around. :p :rolleyes: Such sensitive folk...:) Is field hockey a women only sport in Europe? Just wondering, because it is here.

    One other cool thing about the game last night: They played the Kate Smith version of "God Bless America" (If you're a Flyers fan, you know what this means - they're like 50-5 when Kate Smith sings GBA instead of the Star Spangled Banner) but they did it so that the new Flyer's singer, Lauren Hart (Gene Hart's daughter - Flyer's announcer for over 30 years!) looked like she was playing a duet!! It was pretty cool!

    Anna Kournikova lost in the first round for the Kremlin Kup - loosing to the 210th ranked player in the world.

    Kournikova's response, "Who cares? I'm beautiful. I'm making $10 Million/year in endorsments, life is good."


    BTW - doesn't the Kremlin Kup sound like something that Sylvester Stallone would be entering an arm wrestling contest to win????

    Oh, and Kitiara - I have one thing to say about the Blackhawks . . . :p :p :p

    Thanks for the advice, I missed taht whole great thread :)

    I don't have any problems with Canada or USA, I just pretend like I think guys on the Island are stupid and have also some stupid ideas. I just like to upset people with saying things like that :)
