    Heh those swords were fun. Stoneskin, elemental protection, and varius buffs like mage armor, bull's strength, cat's grace etc on Daelan, send him in and then fireball from a distance like there is no tomorrow. Does the trick in pretty much every battle so far :p Better AI would dictate that they go for the wizard first but then again, i have my own buffs too :D
    (Except that daelan dies all the time against will save requiring death magic)

    That was my most difficult and best fight so far!! (just reached Helm's Hold).

    I went in as a Cleric (3)/Wizard (6), accompanied by Daelan, my pixye familiar and a summoned monster, using full PVP - just can't cast those nasty fireballs while my allies are in there!!

    Obviously, my first time in, being unprepared, I did not last very long. In fact, I had to start some 4 of 5 times over because it was a bit too tough for my PC (unless I'm not good enough, but I prefer not to consider that one!!!).

    So I took a few potions before going in (cat's grace, endurance, speed, barkskin and bless), and used my allies as shield. They were eventually killed (fatalities of war!), all at the hands of the swords and not because of my spells. I summoned a couple more monsters during the fight to use as additional "shield", and cast all I could from my arsenal, and used some scrolls as well. I admit that I also had to run around a bit, taking some distance away from the enemy to better cast my spells.

    I eventually killed them all and had a lot of fun doing it. I wish there were more tough fights just like this one!!

    I recommend everyone to try to beat those swords if you like a good challenge. I read that some players thought it was easy, maybe because of the PC class, but it was not the case for a caster.

    Have fun!! :D :cool::roll::wave:

    I found it in Chapter 2 somewhere. You might be able to buy it somewhere, but I wouldn't know where.

    You can? Is it Greater Swordsman Belt or just Swordsman Belt at the Shining Knights?

    Sweet. You can bet I'll be getting one of those the next time I play. I ended up having to find it in chapter 2.

    Personally, I went in with grimgnaw, let him attack them, then strolled past, got the stuff, and recalled back to the temple to claim grimgnaws sorry corpse.... :)
