You don't get hangovers from apple-mango juice and mineral-water.

    I don't drink, so I don't get hangovers.

Fortunately, a glass of water, some ibuprofen and a nap did the trick, and I could get back to the oh-so-pleasant task of cleaning the vomit off my floor. I have no recollection of seeing in the New Year, and only sketchy memories of getting home (one of my friends carried me). Other than that, my memory ends at about 11:15 pm. Apparently I managed not to embarass myself, though.

Still, this all makes it better than last year, when I fell asleep before midnight and one of my so-called friends dangled his manhood in front of my face and took a photo. Thank God I didn't wake up 5 seconds earlier, that's all I can say! :aaa:

To those that are hungover this will seem like a strange reccomendation: Pedialyte.

    It works, trust me.

As for myself, I'm not hungover, I'm tired from spending 9 hours doing fun things in my girlfriends bed and oly sleeping for like two hours during the night. But other than that I'm good.

She might be a little hungover. She was drinking Greygoose Vodka after all.

    @Benan:
It's called "hair of the dog that bit ya" 'round my parts. Cough medicine is mostly alcohol, so the buzz dulls the pain or something like that.

Well not bad as they get, still no-good, but miserable enough as nobody seemed to understand the meaning "I want to sleep!". :D
Still got over 12 hours of sleep, woke up somewhere around 6 PM. :D
Mostly I'm just mad because either somebody robbed me or I lost my wallet :(
Sure there were money in the wallet but that doesn't matter that much, it is only money after all.
But the thing that nags me is that it was a present from my sister who gave it to me over six years ago, and has been in my pocket since then, I feel so not-right without it.

Mental value, no matter what, it is a value.

Felinoid: Pedialyte isn't like that. Pedialyte is what they give babies who are sick. It's like Gatorade but 3 times as good. The whole point of the stuff is to rehydrate you and replenish your electolytes.

Just drink a bottle the next day and you should be good to go.

From a guy who gets killers hangovers. This stuff is a wonder cure. It makes me feel better every time.

Two liters of D5W IV with 50mg IV Thiamine work wonders too, of course this isn't an option for everyone.

One would hope everybody is over their hangovers now, though kudos to anyone who is still hungover...

I had to work...and my boss looks down on drunk operators. Working with 6 furnaces that get up to 2000 degrees (F) and fragile silicon wafers while being drunk wouldn't be very healthy... I *did* have a major sugar/caffine high after I ate a 2 pound bag of Gummi Bears and drinking 3 Mt. Dew MDX 'energy drinks'. When the sugar high wore off, I felt like I had a hangover. :rolling:

That reminds me of the time back at the computer shop... on cans of Jolt, it's written "do not exceed one can per day", well, sometimes I would drink nearly a pack and a half during rushes. When the caffeine buzz worn off, I felt like I didn't slept for three days...

I was pretty much done the other day. I had a lot of drinks that night with my friends when we went to a local event called Beatclub to enjoy some retro style funky percussions and things.

I got home at about 7am and fried some food, went sleeping at 8 and got up at noon to go to work, where I had to sleep the next night and get up early again. (I work with mentally disabled people). Aftyer I got home, I was finished.

I can't bring myself to get hungover any more. The last time I did I spent the whole Saturday feeling miserable. No way do I want to go through that again.
