You're just too cool for school, aren't you? You're pretty narrow minded and opinionated with regards to music (and probably most other things as well). But you're allowed to be, because you really are better than everyone else. You take pride in obscurity. You probably prefer vinyl too, you elitist bitch.

Oh hell no! I hated vinyl before cds came along. And I'm not narrow minded when it comes to music. There just hasn't been much worth listening to lately (as in the last twenty years!) it seems. :D

    :whoa:

As kuemper said, most of the questions didn't have ANY applicable responses for me, so I flipped a coin, and look what I get.

For the record, I'm a music *whore* - I'll listen to anything with fuzzy borders at C&W, R&B, and...well, anything that people are REALLY fanatic about.

My MP3 jukebox is playing an ecclectic variety from 'Weird Al' Yankovic, Pink Floyd, Green Day, George Thorogood, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Billy Idol, Queen, Kiss, Big Sugar, Dennis Leary, Bare Naked Ladies, the Headstones, etc. etc. etc.

I would've guessed I'd be 'open-minded' like Caradhras (apart from the popularity with the O/S :D ), but as I said, I had to pull an 'enie, meanie, minie, mo' with several questions.

Not the best of quizzes, but quite amusing nonetheless. :)

It called me an Indie snob and while it's correct that my first choice music is not something many people would choose first, it's not like I go after bands. Famous or obscure, I'm outside the whole idol thing. I don't care if I'm independent or not. Be unique, like everyone else. ;) Doesn't do a thing for me, all those fads.

I'm open-minded, which is probably pretty accurate as I listen to quite a wide range of music styles and I don't discriminate against genres/styles based on pre-conceptions; i.e. not "all rap is cr*p" or " hip hop is sh*t hop" etc. Maybe sometimes about bands if I've heard a few of there songs and didn't like any of them, though even so I might like one or two of their songs anyway.

The whole 'indie' thing has become as much a label for people to cling to in the same way that people say they are 'goth', 9/10 the people are just trying to be 'cool' to a set group of people and tend to come off stupid to people outside their group of similiar minded people - though the same can be said for any group which is defined by a certain style or activity, e.g gamers often come off as nerdy and geeky outside of other gamers but amongst other gamers they are seen as being normal.

[edit] somewhat ironically was the fact that just as I started the questionairre a track by 'My Superhero' (probably the most obscure/'indie' band I listen to) started playing.

    You are open-minded!

You're pretty knowledgeable about music in general. You like indie music, sure, but that's only part of it. You'll listen to any old **** as long as it sounds good to you. You're not snobby about music at all, you just like what you like. How boring. Curiously, this makes you popular with the opposite sex.

Should I hide my Christina Aguilera cd?!?!
