Does "I hate you" and "Die!" count?

[IMG] AFTER DINNER we watched part of a movie and some TV and just hung out a bit. We were both on the couch...

Politeness thing. Also depends on the circles. In some groups it's normal, in some it's not. In some it's an exception but is OK, in some it's only normal for people who are already friends. Anyway, no matter the actual development of action, the decisive move is generally thought to be of the guys. If you ask me, truth is the best, whatever it be.

Heh, she will know if you're scared, desperate, resigned or whatever. If she hasn't already fallen for you (and in most cases she hasn't), she may refuse for this reason only. For sure she will refuse if she would otherwise think "let's give it a try". Just be confident, but not arrogant. You know, you don't really see why she would refuse, but you don't take 'yes' as granted (or deserved).

Hmmm... with reference to your last post: congratulations! However, don't grow overly confident. That happens between friends too, so you can't be 100% sure.

Well, but it looks allright. Now pay attention to how much attention you get. How she behaves when you go somewhere together, if she phones or writes herself or just replies to you, if she still fools around with guys (not inherently a bad thing, but it just means she's giving you a try, i.e. you're a temporary one and last until a more fitting candidate is found, unless something changes) or if she's genuinely focused on you.

Soon you should ask her if she has a special someone. You know, just 'Do you have someone?'. At this point it's normal to ask. It will hurt if she says it's some other guy, but better now than later. Probably she will say it's you and a whole new era will begin for you, or at least you'll feel so ;) If she says 'no', you can ask if she would like to have, and what if that someone were you. Just a casual conversation. Without all those red roses, dark rooms, ringlets and big words etc etc that scare girls away. What's more, it's fairly descriptive (formally, you're not asking any direct questions), so you're not getting any outright refusal and you can pretend that nothing has happened. Diplomacy is the way ;)
