    The camps would be monitored by the ACLU, Red Cross, and any other group you'd want. They'd be treated better there than many of them are now. They would pay their debt to the society they spat upon by entering the country illegally, and then have a chance to join that society and country as full members.

    Draconian but not totally cold-hearted.

    As for the people who think the microchip idea is too far, my response is that the present catch and release system is not really working and it isn't teaching them anything -- they treat it as a joke or a game. Some actual teeth to those patrolling the borders would be appreciated by them, I'm sure.
