Is the inquisitor really the best paladin?

hmm i thought lum's machine gave 20% MR. I might very well be wrong of course cause wasn't closely watching my char's MR. But probably i had somethings else too that gave MR. (I haven't gone that far with my undead hunter yet)

Come to think of it, 20% MR from the machine sounds too much

 

Yes you only get 5% if you follow the directions on Lum's note. Mabye if you fool with the machine you get more, but how brave are you?

 

Not to mention that Carsomyr does not normally add 50% MR; it sets 50% MR. Since the game is a bit buggy it will sometimes show more, but it will get reset.

 

Since I've got no answer, I would assume that that means no one knows the answer, or they just don't plain like me .

 

I think I'd go with the no one knows the answer option DMage. I certainly don't know and I'm sure people do like you.

 

I don't know for certain, but my gut tells me no, because the game probally tags Draconis and Abizagal differently in their two forms, one form scripted and labled more like a fighter/mage and the other a dragon. But the only sure fire way to know is to take a cavalier to Abizagal's Enclave. Actually my gut is telling me I shouldn't have had Taco Bell for dinner.

 

I've gotta go with TIamat here. The only reason not to play an inquisitor is the fact that you already get one (and two paladins may be a bit much). Lay on hands, and cleric spells are nice to have but there is no dispel magic that is better than the Inquisitors. I can't recall ever running out of true seeing spells with Keldorn around and the fact that Keldorn cast dispel magic so quickly is truly useful in a multitude of situations. With Carsomyr, Keldorn becomes the bane of all evil practitioners of magic. He really bocomes a witchhunter extraordinaire. The Calaier and Undead hunter just can't compare.

 

I'll have to go with a Cavalier, purely due to the fact that you get some nifty bonuses (immunity to fear etc) and that the negative side of the Cavalier is really minor, seeing as I normally use Paladins as close range hackers.
