    how about a "secret cow level"(golem level) just for the easy XP....

    No of course not, I think that the game is quite balanced in the way you are given XP.

    Yoshi is a benefit to the party if you keep him up until his betrayal. He gives 'inside' information throughout the chapters right from the start (in Jon's dungeon).

    Also for those who have not tried it, there are additional quest points of you get into the Assylum via the 'insanity' method. -available only if you have Yoshimo with you (I tried without...no success). The comment about his thieving skills has already been addressed. Again however, a THIEF is ONLY as good as your ability to use his entire range. His skills are superb if you know how to use them to benefit your party.

    I also agree with the discussion that the 200K XP awarded is 'quest' related. It's not XP for killing him. I believe it was like 6OOOXP for that. There is much related to tragic tale and saga of Yoshi so the 200K XP reflects that.
