Yep, Mass Invisibility/Invis Sphere are your friends here (depending upon whether you're more reluctant to spend 3rd level or 7th level spells). Don't forget to turn off the party AI while you're invisible, IIRC with the "A" key.

Or you could skip it entirely--just stay invisible through the Shaengarne Dam area, and the bridge too, until you pop out of thin air and mug Xuki. But of course killing things is a lot of fun too.

    Update to progress -

I made it past the "dam" area and the Shaengarne bridge without too much problem. (1 reload at the bridge).

Currently, I'm at the Goblin Fortress. The outer area took a few reloads, but, not too bad. Now I'm under the fortress and made it past the little "tent" area after several reloads.

    Current party -

    Gort - Half-Orc, F4, B15 - Brutal Impact
Maggie - Aasimar, F4, Pal. of Helm14 - Cera Cumat
Sir Eric - Human, Monk of the Old Order 18 - Fists
    Jondar :D - Human, Morninglord18 - Headknocker
    Jonna - Tiefling, Rogue3, Necro15 - Iron Arbalast
    Wanda - Wild Elf, Bard3, Sorc14 - Comp. Longbow +5

The team has many other weapons at their disposal. And buffs, spell bonuses, etc.

Present - I just defeated the Goblin Worg Rider Captain and party. WHOA!!! Many reloads until I came up with the master plan to win. I backed the party up to the little "tent" area and had Sir Eric (who is also my scout) go ahead in stealth mode to lure the group to where the rest of my party was. Jonna and Wanda cast Grease and Web in the "little alley" ahead. (Sir Eric is immune to the spells). Sir Eric then led the enemies back to the group while Jonna cast Acid Fog atop the Grease and Web spells. A wall of summons ( 2 Zombie Lords and a "fat blubber guy" (I can never remember his name)) was erected just after the spells. All party members had ranged weapons. 2 Goblin Riders broke through and a melee battle ensued. Gort, Maggie and Sir Eric switched to melee to handle them (easily) while the rest of the party cast spells and used ranged weapons. The main group of enemies absorbed much damage from the acid fog, acid rain and many fireballs. Jonna cast Power Word Silence on the first Goblin Sorc. The other Goblin sorc and the Goblin Shaman were trapped by web in the back and only managed a few web spells. The wall of summons held the main group at bay. Jondar had to resurrect only Maggie as he had a few Group Heal spells at hand.

Victory!!! A real tough battle!

I'm expecting an even tougher battle once I get into the main fortress. I've never been this far before.

Any advice/hints from the masters that have completed the game in Heart of Fury mode? (I need it!!!)
