Kensai or Berserker?

    I knew Barbarian rage grants immunity to level drain, I didn't know Berserker rage did the same.

    @Aldeth. Actually to protect your character from psionics there are two things you can do:

    - Were enough equipment to lower your save vs. spell to -1 OR
    - Simply wear the ring of free action

    Also Lilacror will not protect your character from stun abilities but will protect from Mind flayer charm or umber hulks confusion. The equalizer is also good at this. Do one of the above and your character will definitely not get stunned.

    I like the Berserker better, both for single and dualclassing.

    The Berserker can wear armor (even armor that allows spellcasting is better than most robes), can use Shields (this is huge!), and can use missile weapons, all things a Kensai can not do.

    To top it off, the Rage is just such a great defensive option. You're going to do enough damage in this game. The Rage ensures you'll be around to dish it out.
