Killing Liches

    Liche= by the city gates can be easily taken out by the axe Azursedge (sp?) before he initiates dialogue. I'm fairly sure this won't work with Kangaxx, but may with the elemental ones.

    Thats a bit like fake talk cheese. And really boring...

    Mind, my tactic are really lame at low level. Liches are immune to most low level spells and so breach never works aand I'm not sure if the Inquisitors dispel does... so I usually polymorph into a mustard jelly and leave the rest of the party in the main part of the Inn. If he casts Imprisonment I reload and hope it doesnt pop up the next time.

    With level 8 spells though its a different matter :D

    Spells that hurt liches (my knowledge)-

    Chain lightning- cast on a party member nearby
    Abi dalzims (nuff said)
    Prismatic spray (?)
    Any undead-busting cleric spells (sunray, false dawn etc)

    Combat to hurt liches

    Azuredge (seems to be better thrown)
    Mace of disruption/improved (these HAVE killed kangaxx in one hit, no mods)
    +5 weapons- so darts ARE good, also sling of everard but not so much, since slings are so bad.

    Other tricks- top level clerics can turn them, daystar's sunray wastes things, ring of the ram is the best against kangaxx.

    And also- wizard slayers are brilliant. MR is ok, better with several mods, but you can still get huge MR with the right items. But the spell failure saves my ass time after time.
