[IMG] I dont really know the answer on that question for sure...
I do believe that I have lived on this Earth in another life and that I will live here in my next life too...
Have you guys ever got that feeling when it feels like you have been in a place before, but as far as you can remember you have never been there before?
    messy...

Im a broadminded person so I see many posibilities to what happens after death but....not the answear.I beleive in the posibility of reincaration and that every life would be like a lesson things that we must learn for some purpose....then theres the Christian Cathlic...all thos eother religons that beleive in God and say the purpose of life is to serve God and...I cant remember the rest. Then about the coma thing....Trust me when i say your not dreaming....but am i?am I the figment of someone imagination?just a dream of a greater being and I will fade into nothing and be forgotten when he/she wakes?Hamlet said it best....death is the undiscovered country....then if you saw the movie Fight Club in the acid part....what would you do if you relized that one day your going to die no question everyone does....then you began to beleive that there is no consequence after death...no punishment....at that point....are you free to do anything?if someone beleives in just blackness after death then would they do anyhting they wanted to in life.....like a final party/farewell?ahhh what do i know.....everyone has to die,its how you live that matters

    ~Edit~
Under America's laws the worst punishment we can give is death.
Everyone dies its just a question of when.
If their was no consequence to your actions....what would you do?

Hmm...I believe that all creation is a random accident, a product of sheer luck.

However, someone I know firmly believes I have had a previous life. Who knows....

Hold on to your dice everybody ;)

    [EDIT]
Oh RIGHT, answer the question *grin* I believe life is our right, everybody's right. Although, like all rights, it may be abused.

My interpretation of the question is that it is about the sanctity of life. Whether life is a right and all killing is by definition wrong, or whether it is a privelege which can be revoked if people do not "deserve" it. My basic reaction is that life is a right, but throughout history people have legitimased killing - treating life as a privelege to which certain people are not entitled, the most obvious example of which being capital punishment. Obviously, this can be justified or it would not exist. Perhaps there is no just option but to say that mass-murderers and other heinous criminals deserve to die. So, what's my final opinion - I don't know.

I don't really understand the concept of past/new lives. With the exponential population boost, where are the "new" lives being made? And where do all the lives come from in the first place?

The way I believe it, god/dess takes the most perfect evolved "old" souls into itself, and they become part of god. New souls are created. It's similar to the cycle of life, only much much longer.

WHAT! You people are stupid! Of COURSE it's a privelege.

I wouldn't dream of giving you anything else.

Personally I think it's a right - the fundamental right.

In countries that allow death penalty, euthanasie and stuff it's a just privilege.

[IMG] Life is neither a right nor a privilege. It is a fact. Now what will you do with it?
