Love the new Robes of Vecna! Just as an aside, I discovered that with the regular RoVecna, Nalia's avatar looked MUCH better if you switch her colors to dark red and green, rather than her regular colors. Adding this to the Thavvian RoVecna, she now looks like a mage to be reckoned with.

Regarding the early bag of holding, it might be better if it wasn't in Irenicus' dungeon, or was in that room with the freebie weapons and armor, right next to the starting room. Like you stated, you can't get the BoH if you skip the dungeon with the mod. But frankly, I always use Dungeon Be Gone at this point.

I've never really understood why (seemingly) most people opt to skip the opening dungeon. To each his own, of course, but this is the beginning of the BG2 story, and it doesn't take that long to get through. And for me, discovering Irenicus' "elven" accomodations among the sewers, meeting Yoshimo, and discovering the fate of Khalid is all stuff not to be skipped. Plus I get to spend a little time with the loveable Imoen :) . And lastly, when I do finally arrive at the openess and freedom of Athkatla, I appreciate it all the more after having moved through the confined spaces of Renni's dungeon. But hey, that's just me.

On a slightly more on topic note, I'm pretty sure that Luiz's "tiny" mods have been incorporated into other larger works. I remember installing some of his components, I think, as part of the G3 tweakpack.

Yes, as of version 2 several components migrated across to the G3 tweakpack as they fused well with tweak options already in that uber-pack.

As far as the location of the BoH goes, I can always provide an second option for Dungeon-be-gone folks. Suggestions for an alternative location are welcome. (It would seem a little odd to me to simply have it lying about the Promenade somewhere, but that may just be me. ;) )

    EDIT:

    (*** SPOILERS ***)
Hang on, I'm confused. (Not surprising as I've not used Dungeon-be-gone for years.) Are you saying that first room (with the freebie stuff and the key to Jaheira's cage) *can* be accessed in Dungeon-be-gone? Because if so there's no need to change anything. Or have I misread what you wrote?

I'm pretty sure that Dungeon Be Gone places an NPC in Irenicus' dungeon. If you talk to that NPC he'll transport you out of the dungeon into the promenade.

I've not installed this mod before, but I'm pretty sure I've read that it works that way.

Yeah, it makes an npc appear near the cages. You can opt to go with him (ie to the end of the dungeon) or to wait a bit. By asking him to wait a bit you can do a bit of exploring before going back to him to get to the end of the dungeon (he transports you to the passage of the dungeon that leads to the exit to the promenade). So, to prevent backtracking (and getting double ups of all the phat lewt) it would probably be most convenient to have it near the cages, or perhaps right near the end, near the exit point (well for DBG players at least). I haven't tried the mod (yet), so sorry if it already is near the start :)

The best location for it, IMO, would be in a container next to the Jailkeeper Golem. This makes it easily available for those of use who use DBG.

Yes, Decados is correct. Luiz, I don't know if the Golem Decados calls the "jailkeeper golem" is in the room I'm thinking of, but it probably is. It's the room next to the cage room that has 3 containers. A table with some weapons, a mildly trapped/locked wall container with a +1 dagger and 3 healing potions, and a chest with some armors.

This particular room would be a good place to put the Bag of Holding as it really doesn't involve backtracking to walk on over there to pick up some stuff, but then talk to the DungeonBeGone NPC and bail out of the dungeon.

    Hurray!

I finally did what I should have done to begin with: test the component with Dungeon-Be-Gone installed. And it's fine. So please ignore the warnings in the readme. As long as you can spare a few seconds to pick up the BoH before speaking to the Dungeon-Be-Gone NPC, you're golden. Or you can talk to him, but not activate his help until you've explored all you want. Either way, it all works.
    :)
That's exactly where I placed it.

Well, unless you intend on leaving Jaheira in her cage, you have to go to that room to pick up the key to her cell anyways. So if the new BOH is in there, so much the better.
