    Does it really matter?

    I mean, who cares who is the smartest if we havn't a means of identifying who is the smartest person in the world. Actually. Define smart.

    I can't, and that's exactly the point of my post. The term smart has a different meaning for all of us, and as such, we can't really determine who is the smartest person in the world.

    Like I said they probably mean like book smart. Therefore they probably have like tests who ever has the best score wins or they have like a showdown between people kind like a game show with out money involved.

    To be smart, you must accept the fact that no matter what you are, where you are, you will always be unique in a way that can't be explained, for to give a definition means to lose the secret of being special to yourself. Not to mention you must believe that YOU are the smartest in the world.

    SG, everyone believes themselves to be the smartest person in the world. What you are describing is generally considered wisdom, not intelligence, but as I said, the definitions of both are so vague that you can't really define either. You are correct though.

    Yeah. Vos Savant has an IQ in the 300's. I think something close to 340. Intelligence is no substitute for Wisdom (as any cleric could tell you =).

    Speaking of wisdom, what exactly does your nickname "mean"?

    I can only come up with 2 possibilites from "8people"...

    I was curious about the weird meaning of the nickname 8people. Was searching the forum and found that 8people created a topic where he asked us about our nicknames. But he didn't explained his own.
    And the guys at school think he's weird because of his nickname...
    I thought 8people was a band.
    Could be fat like 8 people too. Or maybe you are actually 8 people. Who knows?
    You can't have killed 8 people otherwise you wouldn't go to school??? :hmm:
    I'm sure it's not that weird.
