    After playing Red Dead I went to my local farm slaughtered his cattle and skinned them. The farmer wasn't at all chuffed, and when I told him it was OK when John Marston did it, he just looked gone out!

    I told him to send the bill to Rockstar.

    FOX also said that Mass Effect 1 had wild (not!) sex scenes. That was BS as well, but still led to sex scenes being neutered in ME2.

    FOX habitually reports nonsense about games. Nothing new there.

    Sadly, because their audience can't tell crap from gold, they are influential. Whatever FOX tells about games, something the audience probably doesn't know anything about, is for starters, true. So yes, gaming hysteria is just the word.

    It reminds me of that old tv series Quincy, where in one episode Quincy was investigating the murder of a teen stabbed to death with a screwdriver at a punk concert. Quincy investigated and concluded that the cause was obviously the aggressive, murderous music. Obviously. What else? I couldn't watch it any more after that.

    The new Mortal Combat game was refused classification (i.e. banned) in Australia today. I should make a list of games that I need to play out of spite.
