    If I were you, I'd put an ultimatium up for the polls, saying that on this date/time, all polls will no longer work properly, and that any info within those polls should be recorded before this date/time.

    If the polls are the only thing holding things up, I'm sure everyone would be willing to deal with the change. You could remove the "Post a Poll" link, and let the current lineup of polls die on their own...

    Just a thought. :rolling:

    I don't want to screw up 1200+ polls... it'd be like deleting archives; something I'd never do no matter what the benefits were.

    I was counting on catbert's help to come up with a solution to this issue (it's all been planned out already), but his disappearance at the start of this month has presented me with a number of problems and setbacks, and this is one of them.
