    Woo-hoo! :D

    A quotation this time:

Aye, you've done grand, laddie! Now you know what you have to do: burn the house down. Burn 'em all!

    Nope.

Quote begins in well-spoken, Radio 2 type English accent, then changes to idiot voice on receiving handkerchief: "I'm going to operate!"

It's a small toothbrush moustache and a white knotted hanky, btw.

    Ok More of a hint:

Long before 'Spike', 'Angel', or even 'Knight', ...

Nope. But they are good guesses. I forgot that grandpa on the Munsters was a vampire. Actually 'The Munsters' IS a correct answer to the hints, but not the show I have in mind. Grandpa was not simular to Spike and Angel the same way as ...

    More hint:

Long before 'Spike', 'Angel', or even 'Knight', (But after 'The Munsters'), there was another "good" vampire ...

    Nope.

I can't believe that no one remembered this show. The Sci-Fi channel showed repeats of this show from the first day it went on the air. But they stopped running it about a year ago. About 5 years ago I saw that it was starting over again from the beginning. I decided to watch the entire run. It took over 3 years of taping 5 hours of shows a week.

I loved this show, but, it WAS a very cheesy show. It had just about every horror movie cliche' there are:
vampires, Witches. warlocks, crusading preachers, the Devil, A Frankenstein Monster, A Bride of Frankenstein, A Werewolf, Vengeful ghosts, gypsies and gypsie curses, a Picture of Dorian gray, time travel, parallel universes, a mad scientist, an eccentric professor, seances, and I am probably forgetting some.

    And the name is .......

    Twilight Zone?

But if this *was* a cartoon, it would be Count Duckula. And it damn well should be Count Duckula. He was great.
