Not the Flintstones. But you've got the right idea. The arrival of the alien had absolutely nothing to do with the show itself and was quite a bizarre thing to have happen. This was a primetime sitcom and the alien was played by someone you have all heard of.

Married with children. The episode where they needed Al Bundy's socks for fuel.

You are so on the right track. But this alien encounter was in many ways even more momentous than Al Bundy's stock stealing aliens!

Didn't Mork crash into Happy Days before getting his own show?

Nanoo Nanoo. dmc is right! Mork crashed into Richie Cunningham's backyard in one of the more surreal episodes of Happy Days. Richie helped to teach him a bit about humans after which Orson ordered him to go live in Boulder and spin-off his own sitcom in order to find out more about life on Earth. He shacked up with Mindy and it all went well until somehow he got pregnant. Anyway, enough of that, dmc is up!

OK. Clearly a hint is needed. Relatively speaking, I am old. So is this show. It's also a cartoon.

Much older than the smurfs. There were no video games when this cartoon came out.

Where's Splunge when you need him?

Man, are we still trying to get this Frog one? Um, older then the Smurfs? That's pretty old. How about Mighty Mouse?
