ACK! Oh for god's sakes...it's from Jabber Jaw! No sponges! No bats!

    http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-5122/Jabberjaw/

Someone may have said it on Spongebob, but it originally came from Jabber Jaw. Think of it as a futuristic Scooby Doo, only instead of a doberman, it's a shark (who walks on land and breathes air, mind you) and the kids are in a band, not just random mystery solvers.

    Sheesh.

Fine, here's a replacement entry: Major Heely

Its the New Zoo Revue. I'm fairly sure I'm right on this so I'll move on. Apoligies if I was wrong.

On what tv show would you get this served to you for breakfast if you ate at their farm house?

    Hotscakes!
Veatcakes (Hotscakes with stalks of veat [wheat] mixed in)
    Onions hotscakes
    Fried oatmeal - dry
Spanish omelet with whole green pepper, tomato and onion
    Eggs fried in the shell
    Eggs benedict
    Crepe suzette (flaming hotscake)
Picture of bacon and eggs in bottom of fry pan
    Canned bananas
"Homemade" preserves that Mrs. Ziffel taught her how to make (Buy jam from store, peel off labels)
    Banana Jelly
    Pizza hotcakes
Toast (she put two slices of bread in the toaster, put the toaster in the oven, and viola!)

Hmmm, sounds familiar. Something like The Mary Tyler Moore show or Archie Bunker.

No, but it was a sitcom and ran at the same time as those shows (ie. 1970’s)

OK, some more hints. The star of the show had another unrelated sitcom in the 1980’s. The final scene of the series finale for that show (the 1980's one, not the one in question) is considered to be one of the most creative endings ever in a TV show. (I could give another hint here, but it would probably give the answer away.)

Sounds like one of the episodes of either the first or second Bob Newhart Show. Only thing that rings a bell for me. "Hi im Larry, this is my brother Daryll and my other brother Daryll.

Well, I'm feeling generous today, so I'll give it to you.

It was from the original Bob Newart Show; The Peeper was an old college buddy of Bob's.

(And the finale for Newhart (the second series) had Bob and Suzanne Pleshette (sp?) from the first series, where Bob had dreamt the whole second series. Classic.)

    You're up, DHB.

Everyone at SP should know this show if they have seen it. This is the trailer for the tv show.

In an Age of Magic, the Greatest Power of All Was Courage.

hint: the star of this show will be playing Mel Gibson's son in the upcoming Mad Max IV!
