    Oh, good LORD, it's not a soap opera! Bleah!

    Nice analysis on the "medium" Aldazar, that was some great out-of-the box thinking... but it's not the right box, nonetheless. Have a cookie anyway! :roll:

    The show was a short-lived sitcom, based on the antics of a real-life public radio station (see what I mean about "medium", now?).

    That's the other excellent guess, along with WKRP, but both of those shows are far, far too popular - this one lasted only a few episodes.

    Hint: Two separate shows in the hint -- the first was a war-based sitcom, which the actor quit. The second is a later show he starred in.

    The second show also has some ties to Disney movies of the 70's and maybe 80's.

    Edit: Yet a bigger hint... Lt. Col. Henry Blake, Commanding Officer, 4077 ... after quitting the show the actor did several other comedies. Which TV show is he a radio talk show host?
