Yeah I have to change the Thief/Conjurer to simply Thief/Mage. When I played through BG1 I dualled Imoen to a Conjurer at level 7 Thief; it's a shame that BG2 doesn't allow that.

I had in mind Darksteel Shield +4 and Axe of the Unyielding +5 for the Berserker, Hindo's Doom +4 and Scarlet Ninja-To +3 for the Kensai. I guess I'll leave Crom Faeyr to the Archer(12)/Cleric. Good point about the druid stuff, I've never used their high-level abilites before. An alternative is to replace the Kensai with Shapeshifter if you love magic: 2 priests, 2 wizards, 2 frontliners, and both priests can go toe-to-toe if needed.

Yup - that pretty much nails the party. I'm stoked about the archer/cleric - that's gonna be fun. :D

Now, in the final lap, what mods do you plan to use? Even though TDD is a bug-monster, I may still install it and do a few of it's quests just for the extra experience. It also has one or 2 items that are pretty cool, but the rest are either too wierd or overpowered (and I can always sell them). Though the quests weren't that great, I did get be lead character (cleric) up to level 19 or 20 before even getting to the underdark. I admit it sure was nice to cast Sanctuary, hit 'Turn Undead' and just stroll on through the Vampire nest untouched while they all exploded around you.

Exnems add-on looked cool, but his items are WAY too overpowered. I want to try Tortured Souls, but do you need Yoshimo and it's included NPC's to do the quests?
