My given name means always resolute/strong, similar to Iku-Turso. I am supposed to be dedicated, determined and headstrong. My parents obviously wanted me to grow up as such. Sadly, I am almost the opposite of that :o .

    Family name just means yellow.

My given first name (Jim) has no meaning but originated from James which, if I'm not completely out of bounds, means supplanter.
My middle name is an old Nordic name with German influences and basically means eagle, which is actually really ironic since I've got very poor eyesight.

    My first name explained:
And I guess my middle name means "he will add". :skeptic:

My parents gave all my siblings very religious names...mine being the most saturated. :bad: My first name was taken from the brother of Moses from the Old Testimat, and my middle name was taken from the founder of the mormon church. Yay for me. :rolling:

My first second name Carl is after several Swedish kings.

First name, Emil, is after I think it was an old slavic king, a king anyway.

Second of my secondary named Ferdinand is after a portugese king, the one that approved of Columbus' travels.

Last name Fredriksson is only a family name. My secondary family name Rutkowski is of my German-Polish heritage.

I am "more of a pilgrim".

Each name makes sense on its own, but the combination is certainly not a winner.

    My name means "Beloved".

Pretty much true, I seem to gain the affection of most people I befriend, and I seem to gain the friendship of most people I meet. :D

I'm not familiar with that particular brand of Chivalry, Harbourboy, but my own Chivalry is fine, thanks. :p

"Son of Mars"; my name is the source of the common name 'Mark'. Goes right back to being a Roman Prenomen.

As for suitability, I'm outgrowing it; I *had* a bit of a temper when younger, but 'my fuse has lengthened with age' :) . I do have a prediliction for warfare tho (board & PC wargames, D&D, interest in military).

And I suppose astronomically, I'm pretty apt - I can be cold, yet also yer closest friend, and a lot less mysterious than that murky Venus b***h! ;)

My first name just means "lady." I keep hoping it's in the sense of polite person but I wonder about myself sometimes. Second name means "graceful," which is so far off it's funny.

As I'm reading Assassin's apprentice by Robin Hobb, I finally understand what you were getting at. Haha, I was confused at the time. :p

    Whatever.
