    I normally use Jaheira as in my bg1 games; ie making her dualwield. I also tend to give Kivan the 1 dex from the tome. This is why I under any circumstances start up SK - wich at most takes three minutes.

    Yes SK can help to edit the NPCs to make them like you had back in BG1, in terms of proficiencies, ability scores, etc. It helps and makes sense for continutiy.

    I do not edit my own character's stats with SK though. Haven't found a reason for that. I used to play with some color schemes though, some tended to crash the game so I gave up it.

    Yes edditing the colours in SK are known to cause troubles

    Yeah the stats in BG tend to makes some of us think 15 con isn't that good :D

    Ctrl+8 takes no more than 2 seconds to press, and lowering stats takes no longer than 30 seconds. So I don't get where you got the re-rolling part from.

    I think I know why you thought that, I didn't specify in my post to use ctrl+8, but I was referring to the posts about ctrl+8 vs. SK. I hope that clears it up for ya.
