    After re-reading your post, I agree - you didn't make that reference. I think that's what I read into your point about your ancestry, i.e., they arrived from Europe via the legal channels at that time. (Unless, of course, you trace your ancestry to Europe later than 1921.) My apologies for reading too much into it.

    No probleemo Mr Aldeth. I believe my ancestry goes back to WWI. My grandparents are Irish, Polish, Irish and German. Making me more Irish than anyhting, hence my fondness for beer, but stubborn like the Germans. Luckily, the Polish didn't factor in.:)

    DR - My "American" ancestory. With all of them origianlly from Europe, maybe Dr. Frankenstein spawned them? How cool would that be! That's it, I'm naming by 1st son Igor! And I did name my 1st daughter Abigail, if you get the Marty Feldman reference...

    Is that so? I have very little knowledge really of New Zeeland but I seem to remember there being some kind of tensions between Maori and Europeans.
