    Neither. I brush my teeth in the evening. And I only go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned...

    Seems like drinking a lot of black tea does protect the teeth.

    Considering oral hygiene it doesn't matter much. It's just one meal.

    I brush mine before, and the reason is that I want the breakfast to taste of something other than the corpse mold I have in my mouth in the morning. And it wakes me up.

    I usually brush my teeth after breakfast but I'm not going to stauchly defend either approach so long as I do brush them - that's all that matters.

    Bahir: Actually the test would be "do you brush your teeth?"

    Anytime is better than not at all. Brushing your teeth first thing in the morning is actually quite good for them -- it clears the acids and bacteria that have been building during the night.

    I sometimes sleep with a bit of chewing gum tucked in my cheek. When I wake up, it might still have some taste left. So there, I sometimes chew gum when I wake up as well.

    And I too doze off in public transports and wake up before the right stop. But actually one time I slept for too long, but I was extremely tired that time.
