    Yeah but there's only one of it... And there are times (vampires present, for example) when the immunity to level drain makes it look even better on the PC (assuming s/he can use it).

    Anyway, vocalization's cool but perhaps a scroll or two of it could save you the trouble. It's not as if there aren't a few other nice 2nd level spells, or you need it every fight.

    A little side-rant: how come so many npc mages are immune to silence? PW: Silence should be the ultimate force in a spellcaster duel - and yet in this game, 60% of the time it never seems to work!

    Yeah it is annoying that you can not silence JonBon. Cast a Protection from Magic (green) scroll with the help of a Simmy or PI instead and watch him fail his spells and end his misery fast. :D OH no I just gave a most cheesy and evil idea! :evil: Poor JonBon!
