Pissed off now.

I have an urge to attack the ref with scissors.

We should have won, even though we played quite poorly at the beginning of the second half. Really picked up in extra time though.

Ashley Cole deserves Man of the Match.

Beckham played badly all game.

All my thoughts on it. Currently hating Beckham and that ref. Pleased with Cole and Lampard (who bears a slight resemblance to Matt Bellamy, so I like him all the more).

What drama for the neutral fan.

 

Good game by both teams. They gave all they had and in the end penalty-decisions are hard. It is great for Portugal advancing to the semi-final in their country.

My aunt is from Portugal, so 'we' errr 'she' err 'they' won

 

The best team lost today, but that's football i guess. I feel sorry for England, they were playing great football. The luck factor was on Portugal's side tonight.

 

Plus, I believe that I predicted England losing to Portugal way back in March when Morsmordre first asked for our picks:

Pearce, Southgate, Beckham, Vassel and the English curse goes on and on. On the other hand Skolari is a very lucky man. He did the unthinkable when he withdrew Figo and Postiga scored.

I might know how you feel. Just like the All Blacks at every rugby World Cup where we always blow it in the semi-finals.

Still, that was a fantastic spectacle for those of us with no emotional investment in the game. Hope the remaining games are just as exciting!
