Richard Pryor one-liners aren't too bad - just make sure the late George Carlin isn't on

Carlin is my one my favorites, he delivers some hilarious rants. It's also Andrew Dice Clay and Jim Norton that I'm worried about. But the one I really have to watch is Jackie "the Joke Man" Martling. My all-time favorite stand up comedian. I play him a bit too much in the car.

I thought about the title of this thread during last night's episode of "Dexter" -- Debra has the filthiest mouth on the planet and when she was at Dexter and Rita's place for Thanksgiving she kept saying "oh fu . . . fudge!"

Hahaha same here, I kept thinking of SP when she would do that.

Well, luckily we haven't had any repeats, as she is learning so many other words everyday, hopefully this one fell through the cracks. She will ask us for something and if we don't answer immediately, she will say" Fine then" and reach for it herself. We are trying to figure out where she picked up that line. Probably a cartoon. It's rather funny watching her do it, but we are putting a stop to it anyway. No need for little imperious princesses to be walking around my home.

It's funny how they develop their favorite phrases so early. Jack's favorite is "Now you did it!" He uses it whenever something doesn't go exactly as planned. If you toss him a ball and it rolls under the table, he says "Now you did it", or if he spills something on the floor he'll say, "Now I did it!" We also have no idea where he picked it up.

Whilie the F-bombs have dropped off, Jack picked up the phrase "Damn it" from my brother (his uncle) over Thanksgiving. He uses it in perfect context. When my wife told him to go into timeout yesterday, he said, "Damn it" before complying.

My niece's boyfriend once went shopping with their 2-year old (then - he is now almost 6). Something bothered him, and without thinking he used the F-word (which is also used as a swear word in Danish, though it's not as bad as in English). The boy picked it up immediately.

It's incredible, really - you spend a year or two teaching children to say "mommy" or "daddy" but it only takes a split second to teach them the words and expressions you LEAST want them to use... I think Murphy wrote a law about this.
