    As for Venus, I had the feeling you were suggesting a connection between the two :)

    Prominent scientists around the world is supposed to mean ... 32 from 26 countries? If you search enough haystacks you will find a needle somewhere. It is still a minority view, no matter whether individual scientists of that minority are reputed or not.

    Nah, the Venus thing was just an odd idea I had.

    As for numbers of scientist AGW doubters, again, review that thread. There were single links talking about hundreds of them. There were prominent scientists in most of the major nations in the world.

    It reminds me of the quote regarding Baccus' plan for health care reform that was blasted as a hand-out to the insurance companies (who have donated millions in campaign funds to Baccus over the years):
