Opinions on Jaheira

It's good to see so many people write good dtuff about Jaheira, she and Viconia are my favorite NPC's. It really warms my heart you guys

 

I've done 2 parties without Jaheira. It was different for sure, like no smart comments

Problem is, Cernd sucks for a druid, and other than Anomen, there are no uber-healers unless character created. I wish they hadn't killed of Khalid though.

 

I wish I could have killed off Khalid . Besides if they hadn't there's be one less romance.

 

Jaheira's stats from BG1 & Tales/BG2:

Str 15 BG2: 15
Dex 14 BG2: 17
Con 17 BG2: 17
Int 10 BG2: 10
Wis 14 BG2: 14
Chr 15 BG2: 15

She got a BIG dexterity boost!

Thanks, Aces. Now I'm thinking of making a minimod to introduce some excuse for either raising Jaheira's INT&WIS BACK to ones previously had (disease or sth) or REVEALING her TRUE stats (language barrier, seclusion, modesty, whatever). Still troublesome, eh... I'd prefer some official or half-official feature but...

Yes so far.
I gave her priorities to Spear(**) Sling(**) Staff(*) Two-Handed Style(*)
She's Pretty good with that Spear! She does have the Ogre-power Gauntlets I brought with me from BG1. 18/00 strength is a big help for anybody.

My romance with her seems smooth.
But I'm still on Chapter two...

Jaheria is a great NPC, if you get her the right items...

Give her the girdle of hill giant strength(19), and Belm +2 Scimitar, this combined with Irons Skins(aka Stoneskin on a Druid, Clerics do not get it), Armor of Faith, Defensive Harmony and all those other goodies make her a great tank and frontline Fighter, while retaining the summoning and healing abilities of a Druid. Her Fire Elementals kick ass! Also using a sword on a priest is just cool .

I always have a druid and a cleric in my party, both of their spells are quite useful, comparing a druid to a cleric is just wrong.

Other great things about her are the fact that she has a romance, and she can fit in any party due to her neutral status.

 

Maybe i am little late butm my opinion about Jaheira is that she is the best female character in the whole game!!

 

A lot of you have been saying Jaheira's worthless. She ain't, even if you hate her. There's no one else left to bag on if she were totally disposed of!

Actually, she is my favorite NPC because she matches my personality pretty closely - in an extreme way. Performancewise, I don't really think she's as good as some of the other characters.
