Overrated/Underrated weapons

    Yeah, but the entanglement ability on it is also a 15% chance. So my original argument was actually for both of its abilities. Sorry I didn't make that clear in my original post.

    Overall, it does give a 30% chance (ideally) that something will happen when you hit with it. That does weaken my initial argument a bit. It does give me a bit more respect for the weapon.

    Also, I don't take Mazzy; and if I do, she's a fighter with a boatload of profs so I usually have her use weapons stronger than shortswords. Shortswords in my games are normally seen as a thief's weapon. But I can see some use for the weapon when equipped on Mazzy.
