The easiest way to kill them is to 1st have either jan or a cleric, preferably jan. Then divide ur party so the into two groups, spellcasters and fighters(possibly taking 1 spellcaster with u. Have the fighters circle around and to the side and wait there. Now u should have the cloak of sewers with u so turn jan into a rat(if he's wearing his armor!) or have a cleric cast armor of faith a couple times and turn into a rat. The rat will now have over 100% resistance to weapons. Now walk up to the group, when they talk to you run away. The fighters will chase after u and when u draw them to the pit thingy stop. Start casting spells like hold person on them while the attack jan/cleric. Then u can rush the magic users with ur fighters. voila, easy as pie (possibly cheesy, u be the judge of that ;)

Just place a couple of traps with Yoshimo.
Go in shadows, and shoot an arrow at a character.
Have your party be around the corner, behind the traps.
Summon a couple of beasts, like a invisible stalker etc. (I was only level 9, so I didn't have any higher summoning spells)
    And wait till they come.
Have your mage fire magic missile and stuff like that one the one trapt.
Have your fighters drink haste, or cast haste on them and let them have a couple of healing potions.
They will be qiute damaged before they reach your own characters, so you will be able to kill them without too much effort.
Be sure to kill those clerics he has, because they heal their party!

[IMG] That's a pretty strong party indeed!

    My suugestion to beat them.

Finish the harper quest, just to take Jaheira back, then return to the sewers.

Don't pay to the dwarven guy and they'll attack.

    1. cast insect plague(lvl 5)at the clerics(That is why you need Jaheira) and the mage to prevent them from casting spells, and they'll also take some damage, too. It's a really good spell, don't leave it!

    2. Cast silence 15 feet radius with your cleric(prevent spellcasting save with -5 penalty, good!!! Cast it from distance!)

    3. cast chaos with your mage.(confusion with -4 penalty, a good spell)

If any of these spells takes effect, you can say that you won the battle. Cause you don't have mutch to do, just to kill the helpless fools with your fighters!

hehe they're all humanoid, a couple quick greater commands puts em right into snoozy land. hack and slash on the sleepers.
oh, and if you pause the second you see the first guy, all the area effect spells you launch at him will hit the others, and as I recall he's not the speaker, just walk up slowly till he comes into view, then let loose with the AOE's of your choice
I use A cleric/fighter, him an anomen both popping off holy smite at the same time Nalia launches a fire ball works wonders
