Those pants are very becoming on you. Then again, if I were on you, I'd be cumming too...

Well, being someone who basically works in the whole 'bar secne', I find that for me direct eye-contact and a slightly cheeky smile works for me, but one line I heard onec that I wouldn't mind trying out is one that iirc as used in "How I Met Your Mother" - 'excuse me but I seem to have misplaced my medal of honor', or perhaps something equally boastful

"I seem to have misplaced my congressional medal of honor." was actually previously used by Brendan Fraser in the movie "Blast From The Past" a 1999 movie.

I suggest "Hey, my name is x, what is your name/how are you doing?/what are you doing here?"

I don't think I've ever been approached by someone with a corny/witty/obvious (whatever you prefer) pick-up line. I just kind of fall into conversation.

I always liked something far simpler, compliments always work well, as long as you don't go over the top. something along the lines of:

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to stare, it's just rare to see someone like you in a place like this. Can I buy you a drink?"

Call me what you will, simplicity is the key imo.

"Hey, baby, want to knock some boots?"

Really, though, I wouldn't do it if it feels even slightly embarrassing.

I know, very unoriginal of me, but a version of it did actually work forme one night
