I used to. We're currently enjoying the cleanliness of a catless household.

I don't trust cats, never have done. Dogs are where it's at. Can't beat dogs!

Cats have always been sneakier. :) The previous link is in jest.

I wish I could link pictures of my cats. I like Fel's kindred very much, but I couldn't see Shell's (the site won't let me in).

The one with the hat looks like it will take revenge. When you are not looking.

Wait, you actually bath your cats? Why? I mean, it's cruel, and cats are some of the most clean animals around.

My family had a black-and-white cat until about twelve years ago. It was a very shy female who we took over from my aunt when she could not take care of her anymore. The cat lived 17 years all in all and was very ill when it died.

    Now, we have a dog.

Cat's = evil, snide, never see the bloody things
Dog's = loyal, friendly, protective and loving

    Sorted :) .

    Cats = loyal too. :p

The male cat is my dad's. I say that because he is completely devoted to my father, no matter how little attention he gets paid (even to basics like food, water, and litterbox every once in a long while). That cat is the most foolishly loyal animal I have ever seen.

Because you're a dog person. Cat people bring out much better reactions from cats. As for dogs' consistent friendliness, they're just too stupid to know the difference. ;)

that may be true, but our kittin usually smells like poo within two weeks, and our Russian Blue starts to feel greasy after about 3 weeks. Bathing cats isn't cruel...every animal needs to be cleaned on occasion. And besides the moans and groans they make is hysterical! :shake:

I agree with Fel's above statement, dogs are just too stupid. I mean, they eat other animal's poo, and sometimes their own! :nono: My sister's dalmation went through obediance trainging and although is followed a few commands, it was still stupid as all hell! :bang: :rolling:

Well, my good old dog bart is the smartest bestest dog alive :p

I have two cats, one is truly mine and is a male named tigger. He is cool and fights with foxes!! Even stalks deer!! On my property we heard a TON of screaching and fighting and went down into the draw to see who it was, and my cat was dueling with a momma fox that hangs around and just had pups. Other times, when we see deer on our land we whip out our binoculars and guess who's orange stripes are hiding in the shadows not 5 feet away? My cat Tigger. He is such a rogue!

Unfortunately he has sprained his ankle and has been in the house limping and nursing it for the past few days. I feel bad for him...

The other one is romeo and he is a very cuddly cat, hence the name. He is lame in that he picks on MY cat, and they scuffle sometimes.

Bah, nothing is more cute, fuzzy, lovely and huggable than my two Pandinus imperator.

The Thai is completly spoiled bastard, all thanks to my brother... but MY cat is cool, calm, relaxed. Kinda like me. :D :shake:

Suit yourself. We never bathed our cat. She was well able to take care of her own personal hygene.

Eating poo is not stupid (for a dog). I explained that in the geophagy thread.

As for the dalmation: They are one of the dumbest races around, together with the Afghane and Golden Retriever (boy, these beasts are really dumb). No wonder your sister has problems training it.
And she may be making mistakes. Or has not tried long enough.

My cats bathed only when they fell into the bathtub while someone was bathing. Generally, cats keep themselves clean with a tongue or dirt bath. I like to help out by brushing and getting that loose hair out of the way. Of course, cats don't know the hairbrush isn't some maniacal plot by humanoids to do something...evil.
