Smell for me. I saved myself and hubby a few times by smelling when our old gas furnace blew out. Then it blew up on me and, well, I've changed. ;) Considering smokers/ex-smokers aren't supposed to have any kind of smelling capabilities, it's sweet. Hearing is second best, though I am partly deaf.

Well, my hearing is pretty bad: I frequently have trouble understanding people, even when they aren't saying retarded things :p
My sight and smell are OK, I do wear glasses but can see without fine, but not very acute. Smell's nothing out of the ordinary, maybe a bit smoke-numbed.
I am however extremely touch-sensitive. I reacted very strongly to even slight touch and this is quite annoying sometimes, it definitely also has it's perks though :D .

    So yeah, I voted touch.

Isn't muscle memory also counted as a sense? (although, it's VERY specific)

Sight... I wear glasses, so that's out.
Hearing... I busted one of my eardrums when I was a kid, so that's out too.
Smell... a clogged nose seems to be normal to me, so that's out also.
Touch... I couldn't really tell much when groping in the dark, so I guess it's not that good either.
Taste... now, I often wonder why chicken taste exactly like carrots, guess that's out too.

Can I just say my sense of humor? :shake:
Well the truth is all I've said are true except for the sense of taste. And taste is indeed my most acute sense among the five.

Nearsighted, selective hearing, have the time have my sinuses plugged, so it's a tossup between Taste and touch...

I have very good hearing. The rest of my senses are pretty normal, I think.
I have a slight problem with seeing things far away, so I wear glasses only when in school, as I would otherwise get a headache, and if I were driving or somesuch; basically anytime I need to be able to view objects far away...

I always have to ask my sister and friends to turn tv's noice down. And when i could hear it completely well, they complain it's way too quiet.
    So i go with hearing.

Now that we are at it, I often at least think about telling people to speak less loudly or less fast. But this may be a matter of taste, as much as my preference towards hearing proper sentences when the stream of information is longer than a couple of words, or towards hearing a form of address at the beginning of a conversation if I'm not looking directly at the person or otherwise prepared (I tend to expect "I beg your pardon,..." or at least "Excuse me,..." from strangers wanting to ask something and also a greeting if they are going for something longer).

As for hearing, I also hear electronics and like (a high pitched buzzing sound), often I hear it from outside the room or building, and people think I'm going crazy. I have 20/20 vision so thats good as well, and my night vision is definitely above average (oddly enough I'm not that observant, cause I'm usually in my own little world :D ). As for smell, I can smell when someone has a throat infection (not even when up close, it covers their whole body and lingers in places they've been), so can some of my family members, but no one I know can. So when I bring it up, people think me even more crazy... And my taste and touch are pretty much average.

So as for the best one...ummm... I'll go with hearing. Was gonna go with sight, but seeing as how I'm not observant I chose hearing :D

It's either taste or touch. Not that my hearing or ability to smell are that bad, only my sight being rather poor (can't see sharply). Out of the two, I bet touch is the same with everyone else, so I voted for 'taste.' Being a culinarist does tend to develope that.

On the other hand, I'm sick full of that standard factory porriage... Ah, well...
