I'd move anywhere that has a nice big forest for me to live in, and some really nice mountains to roam among... *sigh* I should have been an adventurer

I chose New Zealand, but maybe scotland! :)

    [edit]
    Yay New gem :D

Sarevok - you don't have to get any vaccinations to come to New Zealand! Unless it's to cure you of something that we don't want YOU to bring to US.

Yes but New Zealand has big spiders, snakes and nasty insects.

Sarevok, New Zealand has NO snakes (they don't even let any in the zoo), only ONE poisonous spider (and it's not fatal), and no more nasty insects than any other country (i.e. everyone has bees and wasps).

One of the best things about New Zealand is the fact that it has virtually no dangerous animals. You must have New Zealand mixed up with somewhere else. Australia is the one who has all the world;s most dangerous spiders, snakes, and jellyfish.

Ah, I see. In that case Europe and New Zealand.

Asia as it seems very interesting and just - "bizarre", Tibet maybe, or Japan. Next best thing would be North America for its more familiar ways, especially Canada.

I'd movie to Asia simply because of Japan and because I've got a friend who lives in South Korea.

My second choice would be to move to the land of my ancestors - Scotland. Wearing a skirt (I know it's a kilt or however it's spelled) and drinking beer into the wee hours of the night sounds like fun.

::eyes you intently and slurs in a Scottish accent:: Milwaukee Beer is for queers! Drink the house beer, it's freakin' great!

Well, I would want to live on a private island if that were possible. I would have a castle built and invite people to live with me. If that were not possible, I would be fine with Europe.

Although, I am going to be moving to Asia fairly soon. It sounds pretty good to me.

Well, I was just putting him straight on his strange misconception that New Zealand was crawling with dangerous bugs and snakes. The most dangerous native NZ animal is probably a kea swooping on your car and pecking off your windscreen wiper or something.

I'm not actually in any great rush to have loads of people move here to live because one of the best things about this place is how it's not too crowded.

If i can move, i would choose not to move. You guys might not taste this before, moving to a place where people around don't speak of languages you grow up with, eat food that doesn't align with how your taste buds was being conditioned, tv shows don't feature stars you grow up with, newspapers don't report about locations you cared most, it is a pretty lonely and scary experiece to me (and i am still experiencing it). As soon as i get what i want here in U.S., i am going back to Malaysia.

by the way, minor thing, doesn't middle east count as asia?

If it's so bad moving to a completely different culture like that, why are Australia and New Zealand so full of Malaysians, Thai, Koreans, and Chinese who cannot speak English when they arrive? It can't be THAT bad - I'm the only non-Asian immigrant on my street! Actually, I think there is another non-Asian, but he is just newly arrived from South Africa.

My first choice would be New Zealand becaus that's still Australia considering all the Kiwis we've claimed ;)

Second choice though would have to be Japan, there's something about that culture which really appeals to me

Take me down to the paradise city, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty. Take me home!

I'd go to a Town on the Eastern shores of Lake Michigan

    Or probably Belgium or Canada.

I can't think of a place, since everywhere will be some people that I despise. I love northern france, but frankly, 90% of the french I loathe for not being able to utter a single sentence in english. Belgium? Don't get me started. England might be good, if it weren't for the fact that they're either poncy gits or hooligans. Staying in the netherlands, with our rediculously tolerant and inconsequent justice system? Only if I get to act as government, shape this dunghole of a nation up good. The US is an option, but there's too many extremists of religion and politics running around there for my taste. Same with the middle east, though that also has the benefit of constantly having sand crawl up your butt and the joys of getting your head cut off by terrorists. Austria could be good, but frankly the people there are terribly depressing and my being dutch would probably instantly get me apprehended on the charges of drugs smuggling. (lederhosen my ***) Other regions are too hot (africa, southern america, australia which by the way has the added benefit of having various creatures common enough to kill you before you notice them) or too weird (asia). I'd go for the north or south pole, if it weren't fricking cold over there.

You know, I wouldn't move, but instead use the money to evict my 'fellow' humans out of the area now I live in. Every last and single one of them. Oh, and install a remote control system for the weather.

Maybe an uninhabited island, but I'm sure I'd end up hating stuff there too :)

It depends on just how rich really... if I just got, like, moving for free, Greece or central Italy... nicer weather, greater tendency to nap in the noon and stay up late.
Good food too - I don't really care about dope or the red lights district and the weather's usually lousy.
However, if I got *filthy rich* I'd buy either a huge penthouse in some Rome appartment building, or my own old castle in Scotland, and transform it into a luxury resort slash LAN center for me and my friends to mess around and maybe finish school at a *slow* pace at afternoons, then game and party all night, and sleep in the morning...
Yeah, that would teh cool... but I'd have to win like ten million bucks for a stunt like that - not that I'd object to that actually :p
    :borg:

EDIT: Faragon, I'm not world-wise enough yet to be able to give reasonable thought to every point, but SirYesSir is our politics a laugh... laws that make no sense crawling up all bodily openings, but no need to worry as they're not enforced anyway... Infinite debating without anything other then we don't agree but at least we got our wages coming out.
Living in a place like that and caring will make anyone bitter, with good reason.

Master of Nuhn> I'm glad you like my state. :)
Holland is a great place to live but it has been growing a lot recently. Best part about Holland is I live 45 minutes away (Grand Rapids) and can go to the beach any day I want.

Of all the beaches I have been to this is my favorite. I like it even more than Hawaii; there is no coral to cut your feet and the water isn't salty.

yes I guess you could say that middle east counts as asia but i thought that with all the problems those guys are having and all the degradation they're going through it would be ok to separate them from africa, not geographicaly (gosh, i'd love to have that much power!), but socially.

And I was thinkin' a' splittin' up the reas a' asia 's well, but I said: ahh forget it!
