Jan -Between long-talks and nice sibling, which one would you choose? ;)

Edwin -Nalia at least tries to be nice, even though I would give boot to both of them. :D

Cernd -Again, his warcries are just too annoying.

Valygar -Minsc has been in the party from the start, so... (but really; it could have been either one)

Mazzy -"I'm a servant of justice, and righteusness!"

Sarevok -He was the one who killed the protagonists step-father, and the nemesis in BG1.

    Haer'Dalis -Like Aerie better. ;)

Anomen -Combine Cernd and Mazzy to get Anomen. Usually run through grinder when met. :p

Imoen - whine, whine, whine. In BG2 you can't kill her (which goes nicely with the plot), but in BG1 I do... every time (Hei! Ich bin's Imoe... *gug* *gurgle* *thump*)
Nalia - whine, whine, whine. Imoen clone, but without the need to be killed. Nalia is ignored in my games.
Cernd - nothing major, just a a bit dull, that's all. He certainly doesn't stand a chance against Jaheira.
Minsc - what a nutter. And stop shouting... Mind you, Valygar is not much better. I never take either of them.
Mazzy - a paladin is better
Sarevok - tough call, but I think I have to dislike him on "plot" grounds. He also turns up pretty late, so by then I have Korgan established.
Aerie - Oooo... that was tough. I like them both, but I think that Haer Dalis is preferable.
Anomen - nothing serious, just a bit dull, and pure cleric beats fighter/cleric, in my opinion.

For those of you questioning why I paired people the way I did, here's my explanation. First of all, I thought it only made sense to pair character classes whenever possible. It only makes sense. Obviously, if you aren't the least popular fighter, then you aren't the least popular overall either.

    So here's rundown:

Imoen and Jan - both possess some combination of mage and thief skills.

Nalia and Edwin - the closest representation of two pure mage classes. Yes, Nalia has thief skills, but not much.

Minsc and Valygar - both rangers. This is an interesting pairing because although they are both rangers, Valygar's kit gives him an entirely different m.o.

    Jaheira and Cernd - druids

Sarevok and Korgan - evil fighters

Mazzy and Keldorn - paladin and paladin wannabe

Anomen and Viconia - closest thing to two pure clerics in the game

Haer Dalis' and Aerie - they were the only two left. Haer Dalis' doesn't really pair particularly well with anyone, and while Aerie in theory can be paired with another cleric or mage, you then run into the problem of putting a mage or a cleric against Haer Dalis'. I admit it wasn't an ideal pairing, but to break them up would make another pairing far worse.
