I don't care much, although I don't like any form of turning sex into money. Almost everyone is selling something nowadays and some people are selling their bodies. Perhaps they think it's a good bargain because the body doesn't use up from it, but there's no such thing as free lunch, so it's going to hit back in one way or another.

I tend to agree with joacqin on that she's probably not so stupid as her image suggests and it's all business. Except I don't think it's such a great business. It doesn't impress me. Whether you charge five bucks or five million, it's still the same. Show me the woman who won't pose or act sexually in any way for any cash in the world, or fame, and I'll be impressed.

 

Show me the man (other than yourself, of course Chev) who won't be the one asking for the woman to pose in the first place and I'll be even more impressed. It's a vicious cycle. Stop implying that women are more to blame for the sex that's all over popular culture than men are, blame must be shared equally.

 

Great. The Paris Hilton thread has somehow now become a sexual morality debate. It's just Paris Hilton! I think she's pretty smart to have made so much money by cultivating a certain image.

 

Paris is filthy rich, young and famous - if I was Paris I'd be doing exactly what she's doing, and no-one can do squat about it. Who cares if she's too thin, immoral, ugly, skanky, whatever. She has money, you don't. Nyeh nyeh nyeh.

 

So she has money and can buy a lot of things I can not. Cool... I'm happy with what I have, I can tell you. If money is all you live for, you got a poor life.
She's young? So am I. We both grow older.
Famous.. I'm not exactly sure if I'd like to be photographed or recognized that often. I got my own, private life and I like it.

actually, I'm taking HB's stand on this one. It's a Paris Hilton thread. You either find her hot or not, end. Big whoop how she acts or earns her cash, who gives a flying ****? as I've said already, I find her hot, don't really care about all this other stuff you guys are getting so hot about

The reason that people watch her show is simply that the viewers feel superior when that see this skanky, homely slut make herself look like an idiot. But at least Mr. Slave put her in her place.

A friend of mine brought it to the point when he pissed off his g/f by saying:

You guys need to relax. Paris Hilton (I checked on that the other day) is young and has reasonably good looks. Could be much worse.

Well I don't know about hating her, but damn if she ain't annoying. Whenever I see anything remotely related to Paris, or those of her ilk, it feels just wrong for such behaviour to be allowed. Not just that it is in public but also that it is being recorded and televised as if that is something to be enjoyed or even known.
And that burger ad must be THE worst made ad ever!
