[IMG] "tea, earl grey, hot." :borg:

can't believe no-one got that in before me. :hahaerr:

CL, with all your talk of sperm, are you suggesting we substitute high-fat milk for high-protein spunk for that lil' extra something in our tea?

Oh God your a geek! (no pun intended)

I like tea better, but without milk the cheap stuff makes me wretch, they put far to much tannin in and without the extra milk to soften it it dries your mouth out and makes you feel really really queasy!

  4. [IMG] Tea.

    Milk.

    Three sugar's minimum.

    Sometimes I drink coca cola.

    I never drink:coffe:Because I dont like it.

[IMG] /me shudders thinking about all the sugar-and/or-milk-in-their-tea-barbarians outside ...

Is the tea you drink really SO cheap you have to add sugar to give it a flavour??! or milk??! Tea for me ALWAYS without sugar .... well, most of the time. I add sugar only when the tea's really cheap (then also lemon - sugar and lemeon turn even the worst tea into something drinkeable) or I when need some sugar to stay concentrated when I learn ... but only then ...:coffee:

Glad to see Ragusa has the right avatar at last :) Shame we're likely to move to portraits soon :( Anyway, no tea or coffee for me. I don't really like hot drinks at all. Hot chocolate is about the only thing and I don't bother with that unless someone is forcing me (does soup count?). I used to force down tea after playing rugby if I was really dieing of thirst after a match. Just enough to keep me going until I could get to the bar. For caffiene I have to rely on coke (not the white stuff).

Of course this does mean I miss out on a lot of social opportunities. Slappy walks nice lady home. Lady says, do you want to come in for a coffee. Slappy says 'no thanks' I don't like it and leaves. Nice lady is left wondering if Slappy means he doesn't like coffee and is a bit thick or if he doesn't like what coffee is the codeword for. :aaa:

Coffee first thing in the morning. Generally Nescafe with milk and sugar.
Any other time, I drink tea made from Tetley teabags with milk and sugar.
I haven't really tried the more expensive stuff, and think I wouldn't like it.
Guess I'm just a barbarian. I'm off to try on a selection of loincloths and find a club.

I rarely drink tea. When I do,I've gotten into Japanese green tea as a alternative to coffee. I drink it hot & neat. Wonderful stuff if made right, insipid if not. Last year a Chinese lady I work with brought back some really incredible black tea from her hometown in China. She said it was a kind of tea served at weddings & other special occasions. She was gracious enough to give me a bit of it for my own stash. :happy:I asked her what it cost. She replied that it was a gift to her. Some gift. We did a bit of digging on the web, and found something similar or same.(I couldn't confirm, I don't read chinese.) It was ONLY $140.00 LB. ($308.00 Kg) :xx:

I envy you about drinking that tea. The best tea I ever had was Castleton Darjeeling SFTGFOP, 2nd Flush (iirc the tea queen Elisabeth drinks for breakfast). It is actually priced about 198 € per kilo (~ $ 213 per kilo) and I got 1/8 pound (= 62,5g; 1 pound in germany equals 500g to ease calculation) presented on my birthday two years ago. I cooked the last pot around cristmas and it was lovely :) Actually I can't even think about affording a second 1/8 pound at the moment ... :(

/me again found trust in life: Americans seem able to transfer imperial into metric ... now they'd only need to adopt it ... just a minor step ... :spin: ;)

    Tea, with lots of sugar.
    And chocolate.
    And biscuits.

I only drink coffee to stay up late, but I usually get my cafine boost from coca-cola.
