15 with beer. Since then I'm loving beer! Stronger stuff is good, but I do now and always will love beer!

If I feel like a crazy mofo I'll get my flask of 94% out and drink a few shots of it. Hits like a brick.

 

The sacry thing about when I used to drink is that people watching me drink couldn't tell if t was affecting me, even though I knew I was ****faced. Then it was a symbol of pride, now it's a point that should have signaled a problem...

My teen-age years were mostly devoted to smoking pot however, and that probably explains why I can't remember those days as well...

I didn't really start drinking (by myself at least ) until I turned 21...

Around 7 was when my parents started letting me drink at dinner.

 

And I thought I started young...

 

Never, yup that's right, never. I despise beer and the only wine I like is Arbor Myst, which I have tried very few times. Born to a family of non-drinkers .

 

Hmm, drinking regularly? A month before I turned 16 IIRC.

But things have been calm on the drinking front as of late.

I tried some stuff when I was 15, but didn't interest me at the time. I started drinking alcohol again when I was 21, and could afford to pay for my own quality booze.

wow this thread surely is great, it seems that I'm quite normal First beer at my third, my own glass at my seventh or eight at birthdays etc.
Atleast it gave me the resistance to beer, spirits are another story though, got quite drunk when I started experimenting with that at age 17, lots of beer and half a bottle of vodka really hurts the next day...

Severe hangovers are a good reason to control your drinking habits I say

 

Yeah, they are, although it's even worse when you are addicted to coffee, as well as alcohol. Normally, you would fall off your feet like a good citizen and wake up with a slight hangover. But after coffee, you can't sleep with all the alcohol in your stomach, so you have to grin and stomach it. Because if you lie down, your immediate puking is sure as taxes. So you just roam the party and drink more and more of both. In the end, your hangover starts before you even sober up.

 

''a hangover before you sober up'' sounds like I've had that sometimes, not sure though. But doing physical heavy work with a hangover is my worst experience, trying to work like everything is okay, while you feel like you'll puke every two minutes, and of course the headache, oh the pain....
Everytime i got this situation I promised myself never to do it again, and after a few times it even worked (until now that is, have to see what the cold winter nights have in store )

Has anyone else bought a beer with change?

 

I don't drink beer or alcohol at all (i mean, a sip once or twice, but not regularly). I think it is nasty tasting, and there are much better, non-alcoholic alternatives.

However, I wouldn't mind it that much if everyone I knew (around my age) wasn't obsessed with getting beer and drinking it. They just want to be rebels... damn my friends, i say!
