Haha, good job. No worries, I have no problem with anyone who drinks, unless they are *******s to people who don't like alcohol. And I also don't like when the generic 'cool' person gets drunk, cause they are even more of a ****head then than they were before.

Yes, I have expensive tastes, I'll admit, but I follow Unibroue's slogan of "Drink less, drink better". :D

    Beer...
Spirits are the best. I never puke my guts out with them.

I was 16, garbage pail punch, and how!

These days I talk about drinking more than I do it. My last hangover lasted 2 days even with the IV fluids(gotta be a few benefits of being a nurse).

Coffee with alcohol doesn't make me puke, but we always make this crazy coffee that would make an elephant's heart race, and end up giggling at stupid things until noon.

Coffee? If it's French Vanilla Cappucino spiked with cognac, count me in!

If it's regular coffee... blah, I'll leave it to Ara. :D

Irish coffee - strong black coffee (like a double espresso) 1 shot of whiskey, 2 spoonfuls of sugar (though I don't use sugar myself) and 2 spoons of thick fresh cream.

The coffee has to be sipped through the cream, for maximum taste.

How about instant ice coffee (or frappe) dissolved in half a small cup of milk, two shots of vodka and some pina colada? Worked like charm before dancing class. ;)

How 'bout a protein shake ;) Tasty and nutritious... and no estrogen producing side-effects (unlike alcohol)

And you though drinking was manly!

Actually alcohol makes men more feminine and women more masculine. Soon we're all gonna be androgyne types.

I'm seventeen right now, and I don't drink. And I don't plan on doing it ever. Unlike most of my damn school. In law class the other day, someone mentioned that they have like 5 tickets for drinking. Easily over half the school drinks on a somewhat regular basis. I just don't see the point. Like honestly, what good can come from it? Sure, people say that its fun, but how does that outweigh the possible consequences?

Sure, I may sound like an anti-drinking mascot here, but here the legal drinking age is 19. And remember this, my school is grades 9 through 12, ages being roughly 13-18. And most of them drink. And a good portion of them smoke, too. But thats a completely different tangent.

Nothing wrong about not liking or wanting to try alcoholic drinks.

But alcohol is not the problem, it's the amount people drink. And that a lot of people think that you can only have real fun when you are wasted. Right.

Personally, I go out, and I enjoy myself. Sometimes I drink a martini or two, or a couple of pints, but no more than that. And sometimes I just have something fizzy and non-alcoholic, especially if I'm driving.

Tobacco, on the other hand, is just bad no matter how often you smoke, or how many cigarrettes. :nono:

from a biological point of view, alcohol is like poison, and no way healthy, but i don't want to discuss whether it is healthy or not, because then we could also start about caffeine and sugar and all of that.

well, i consider myself as a heavy drinker, mostly every friday, saturday and sunday(i watch football so..) and sometimes even thursday, and in my country this is somewhat normal. in my class there is 1 who chooses not to drink, and i haven't heard of anyone else doing that, besides people who are forbidden by their religion.
i know i drink more then what is good, if any is good, but it is nice to get completely away from homework, school, work and stuff like that, and it is a nice mood enhancer! party on!

oh and i live in denmark

and abou 90% o my class smokes aswell

I was drunk and stoned one night with all my friends who were all teacher's sons. We snuck out of the principal's son's tents in the principal's back lawn and took off into the woods with our stash and got hammered and stoned and promptly caught by the principal. I was in grade seven. I got such a trimming from my old man I never touched it again until grade eight, which was all of three months. From then on my old man just turned a blind eye until I got busted for littering when the cops nabbed us in the woods and I threw the flask away. My old man just laughed. I am a social drinker at age 34 now and wish I had all the money I had back that I spent on booze. All the girlfriends I lost, all the days spent recuperating; Man, was it all worth it?
