    Gimli. He's very funny in the movie. John Rhys Davies just has the best voice.
    Gimli is closely followed by Gollum/Smeagol. Although I know he isn't real, he did some good acting in the movie. Great animations and he has a very deep character.

    Dwarves are the best. Fearless and with a most fitting sense of humour. John Rhys-Davies really proved that he was the right choice in TT.

    Theoden was played well in the films as well. And even though some think of Eomér (both of which were missing from the poll btw) as a dumb stone-jaw of an actor, he was quite good in my opinion. I really liked Miranda Otto's Eowyn. Though she was by far more elvish, in her body structure and facial features. Perhaps for that reason, though.

    Voted for other. This other is that one that was not shown in the movie - in fact all of those. At least Jackson hasn't ruined them.

    Third orc from the right in the storming of Helm's Deep. He's in the third row, IIRC.

    If you look closely, you can see him mouthing "Help! Saruman kidnapped me from my parents, Bill and Hillary!"

    i haven't finish the book but i have seen the movies, so my impression comes, mostly, from the movies.

    i like the counting from left 3rd, second row from bottom orc that appeared in near the end of the first movie screen no. 2hr 36' 33". Don't you think that his face was so expression? if you looked carefully, you can see that his eyes actually tell you the unfortunate story of being an orc in this twisted world. touching.
