I've designed a new, graphical version of the forum notice for this fund-raiser, which should be both more inviting to potential donors, and less annoying to those who have already donated (or decided not to).

It is attached below in the form of an HTML snippet, which you can use to replace the part of this site's source code that makes up the current version of the notice.

Also tweaked the content and style some more while I was at it.
Remember to insert the dynamic username variable again instead of "Ineth".

 

Nice work Ineth! This is much more pleasing on the eyes, and very Project Eternity-esqe!!

 

What will happen if the $1000 goal is not met by the deadline?

 

Tal takes it to the casino and puts it all on black to see if he can double the money.

 

Wouldn't it be better to bet on a dozen or column? It's only about a 16% less chance to triple his money.

 

I just donated 300 silver pieces, making the total 860.

Thanks for maximizing the drama by leaving it to the last minute. What will you do with any excess over the $1,000?

 

I just added in my donation, too. As for the extra that is donated, if it doesn't reach $2000, why not just put it to the highest tier it will go to and randomly space out the goodies from that? Or could you squeeze a custom package from Obsidian for adding to the $1000 to make it easier for SP and harder for them?
