    People from other parts of the world Frenchies have conquered will probably pronounce it differently. :shake: :evil: Seriously, I try to speak the good old non-throaty moderate French and that's how *I* pronounce it. ;)

    HB, I'm not sure whether you're joking or not, but in case you're being serious:

    No.

    No i's or a's or oo's!!

    If you must know, dl the soundclips here , open diphtongues and listen closely to to the third word from the end: "huis". Now forget about the h and the s and add "toon" as in cartoon and you'll be there. :shake:

    The last but one and last word "buiten" and "ruit" have the same sound.

    Na-KEY-ah or NA-key-ah or however you want to pronounce it since it is a typed name and not a voiced name. Has no meaning as far as I know. I just liked the way it looked.

    Mine's a Welsh & pretentious-fantasy mouthful, so an Anglicized Ril-ee-un (the Rhyll can sound like hill) will do nicely. Less glottal, and less spit-producing. :yum:

    I dropped the de'Adjerah 'cause it's getting a mite long to type when I login. Vive la paresse! :sleep:

    Ah, considering I changed my name, slightly, it is now: Saber. Pronounced: Say ber. Pretty easy, no?

    It is like the sword, although that's not where i got the name from.

    @Cúchulainn

    After this morning's class on the Ulster Cycle, I'm pretty sure I can pronounce it correctly. (Professor with a lovely Irish accent.) :D
