Sometimes a story just grabs you.

    {Some light spoilers}
I guess I really loved the concept of the 4 separate elemental kingdoms, with a single avatar who stands as an icon for all of them, the only person capable of bending all 4 elements. I also enjoyed watching Aang's journey to master water bending, and how he used it at the end of the movie (I mean, I was wiping tears from my face left and right at this point. Then when the water and fire kingdom soldiers bowed to Aang, and he bowed back, I was just like, alright, yeah, let's set this world right again! Oh, and when Aang encourages the earth benders to stand up for themselves.... Well, let's just say there was a lot about this movie that I really enjoyed. I thought the actor that played Aang was great. Not perfect, but great.

Damn it, people! Sensorium is the place for debates on movies. This is a place for mindless drivel, like this:

My car is dirty. I should wash it.

    See? Was that so hard?

    :p

Come to Southern CA. It's been nothing but a big free carwash for nearly a week out here.

For what it's worth, I intended my movie comment to be mindless, but somehow some mind got mixed in there. Hate when that happens!

I've woken up with a headache again :( it's been every day for the past week and a half. However, I'm supposed to wear a splint in the night to stop my jaw doing weird things and going into spasm and I'm waiting for a new one. Fingers crossed I'll be able to get it today!

Oi' I hate having to shop two days before Xmas, apparently my old, used, torn jeans aren't "nice enough" for Xmas at my sister's. I now have to buy pants, meh.

[IMG] Could be worse, my favourite skirt cought fire.

I barely have any wearable clothes now. Most annoying thing is the skirt is the only piece of ruined clothing that's my fault. Everything else someone did something that damaged my clothing leaving me with very little.

Rest of the clothes I've had since I was a preteen and have started to just had their age showing :(

I'm with Silvery here... what the deuce happened?!

I have all my shopping done, except that I have to make a gift for my mom. I am making her one of those coupon booklets kids give to their parents with stuff like "One free cleaning up of my room," or "one free night of no complaining," and so on, except I am going to add stuff like "One movie night with me," and such because she was sad that we don't see each other now that I have an apartment at school.

[IMG] Round a friends house Kev was sat too near the fire, went to give him a hug and he pushed his arm out that I was holding, pushing me too close to the heater.

Ahh, the ol' classic push-the-girlfriend-into-the-fire-because-you-don't-like-her-skirt-but-need-a-good-excuse-to-get-rid-of-it routine.

In other news, SP is one of the few places on the internet where people are rational and reasonably intelligent. Almost every other board I have ever visited is filled with people who make statements that would probably get them shot in real life.

    Thanks Silv!

[IMG] lol, yeah, Sorcerers keeps me sane.

I'm on a few other forums now but half the time I have to avoid posting so I don't annoy the wrong people :p

A warhammer forum where you get the obvious rule bending and nonsense, a couple of White Wolf forums where there is unfortunately a loud lack of intelligence. The forums I have to be on for LARP which are mostly quiet and slightly *****y. An occultist forum with the mandatory clash of egos, a traditional craft place which has the obligitary daft mares who make words mean what they want them to mean so they don't feel guilty  and another craft forum where half the regulars treat witchcraft and wicca to be the same thing which really gets my goat.

Are they the kind of people who think candles care what colour they are and the moon isn't a big ball of rock in the sky?
