    I don't want to sound mean but I honestly don't feel much of a loss over Whitney Houston's passing. She lived fast and died young - she had a beautiful voice but her songs were too commercial for my liking. Drowning in the bathtub would not be my choice of ways to go although I guess that death was decidedly better than the one David Carradine experienced.

    Supposedly she didn't drown, but died from a combo of Xanax and other prescription drugs combined with alcohol. She may well have been dead before her head was submerged.

    @ Marceror - still not a great way to die.

    @ LKD - I used to have a friend who would occasionally lift her shirt and flash the traffic passing her front yard. Considering she lived close to a major freeway I'm surprised she never caused any accidents. She stopped doing it when she turned 30. Not my choice of entertainment but to each their own I guess. :p

    The strike has officially started today, sigh. So no classes for the near future. Damn them, I love going to uni :( -- I'm still jobless and I haven't been able to find any new job since I lost my last one in December. So going to university was pretty much my whole life. Sure, I can still read the texts, do the work and blah blah blah. But *it ain't the same .

    *The Flix is unhappy about this silly strike business*


    *audible gasp* But, gravity is awesome and so important for life on earth! Gravity ftw! :p

    I have to say that without gravity we might have a larger concern than lack of jiggling and aching joints. I know people who have a hard enough time keeping their feet on the ground as it is!

    It's not just ourselves that is kept in the ground but also such silly things as the atmosphere. Y'know breathing and stuff. On the cosmic scale it is gravity that keeps our planet around the sun and it also keeps our sun within the galaxy and so on and so on. There wouldn't be, well, anything in the universe without gravity. Gravity rules! If anything it's as close to a creator god than any other thing is. Although we'd be kinda silly to worship gravity :p

    cleric level position haven't been shotguned yet, you still have a chance. As for spells, huuumm, yeah, sure, how about this ?

    edit: Oh yeah, almost forgot; May Gravity keep you tied to the celestial body upon which your own gravitational pull isn't strong enough to overcome. Although if you actually want to travel to outer space and escape the current gravitational pull, it's cool too, we don't mind. Err, credimus in gravitatis
